Jason Berlin is a artist and educator living in Portlnad Oregon. Jason earned his MFA from Pacific Northwest College of Art in 2016 in Portland, Oregon and his BFA in 2013 from Oregon College of Art and Craft. My art practice includes the medium of oil painting, sculpture, installation, college, and curation and mail art.
Value and status hierarchies are disrupted through coded systems of color, and an amalgam of disparate materials. These elements are expressed through my autobiographical stance of being blue collar, queer, and a Pacific Northwest native.
